So if you have 100 weight (100 poise) and are hit with a 28 weight weapon, it will deal 56 poise damage, so 2 attacks from that weapon will break your poise. Poise is reduced each time your hit, all weapons deal "Poise" damage based on their weight. Poise is now based on overall weight of your character, the more weight you have, the more poise you have and has been removed from all armor. The value of poise has been increased and now will prevent being interrupted from attacks. Poise now reduces stamina lost from blocking attacks with a shield by 1 for 1 up to 50, then 2 for 1 to 75, then 3 for 1 to 76-90 which is cap.
